Possible Relocation We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator for an HVAC engineering firm in Pittsburgh, PA. The qualified candidate should be well versed in the engineering of commercial building and industrial HVAC systems. Position Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years HVAC Design/Build Estimating experience • BS Preferred • Possess the ability to read and understand technical specifications, construction plans and contract requirements • Experience estimating high-end industrial and commercial projects • Experience in negotiating subcontracts for project installation • Experience in selecting components and devices required for complete installations • Must have a broad understanding of construction especially piping and sheet metal systems • Must have an understanding of the submittal process required for typical construction projects • Must have an understanding of installation costs and requirements for proper closeout of project Compensation: Commensurable (Expected pay: $70,000 - $90,000 per year).
