Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Consults with HR managers regarding information needs.
Collaborates with users to develop, maintain and distribute custom queries.
Develops and provides timely delivery of accurate reports using PeopleSoft Query
Maintains security permission,role lists and third partiy interfaces.
Supports broader HRIS projects including mergers and acquisitions.
Assists the HRIS and Reporting Manager on projects as assigned.
Consults with technical team on all suggested changes/enhancements and develops functional specifications documents.
Translates business processes and requirements into system applications.
Troubleshoots HRIS issues for end users.
Researches, analyzes and recommends solutions to various HR automation issues
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
*A Bachelors Degree or the equivalent experience.
*5 years HRIS experience is required
*Experience with PeopleSoft HR 9.0, Payroll Interfaces and Security Administration is preferred.
*Experience with working with SaaS providers is preferred.
*Payroll experience is preferred
*The ability to write SQL queries is required
*The ability to manage multiple projects and provide problem analysis and resolutions .
*Microsoft Excel skill, particularly vlookups, hlookups and pivot tables is required.
*Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
*Strong analytical skills is required
*Excellent organizational and analytical skills required.
*Knowledge of information systems development and implementation, as well as knowledge of business processes and applications.
*Must have strong problem solving techniques and be able to effectively present information and facilitate discussions.
*Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, but also be a team player.
*Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
*Ability to lead functional teams as well as working effectively as a team member
