Job Description:
Responsible for directing the global corporate and operational accounting activities including external financial reporting and relationship with external auditors.
Assist CFO in directing treasury related functions including cash management, currency hedging, and managing relationships with lenders.
In charge of external financial reporting to meet the business needs and to comply with US GAAP, SEC and foreign reporting requirements and those required by the borrowing agreements.
Responsible to oversee all accounting personnel including Controllers and Accounting Managers in multiple US locations, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
Lead process improvement initiatives across Corporate Shared services (IT, Accounting & Finance, and Legal) functions to enhance ownership and quality of information.
Lead and oversee SOX Compliance and train local Controllers in non-US sites on corporate accounting requirements. Assist with acquisition of new businesses and responding to needs of global reorganization
Requirements
CPA
Work with one of the Big 4 previously
15+ years experience
Previous managerial/supervisory experience
Experience with SEC
Experience in a manufacturing environment
