Job Description:
Due to exciting expansion and new product development efforts, we have an immediate Electrical Engineer position available. The contractor must have working knowledge of Altium for circuit design and PCB layout. Location SW Twin Cities. Duration 6-12 months. Customer will consider non-local candidates willing to work onsite for the duration of project.
Requirements:
Schematic and layout experience
Power supply design and layout
Experience with multi-board systems
Lab experience:
Debugging serial protocols (I2C, SPI, RS232, USB)
Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers
Experience designing small, high-density boards
High-speed circuit layouts
Writing and verbal skills for technical description and reporting
BSEE or Equivalent Experience
Other nice-to-haves:
Circuit simulation with Spice/PSpice
Analog signal conditioning
Familiarity with MEMS accelerometers and gyros
Familiarity with software design
Familiarity with automated test systems
Digital camera interfaces
Motor-Control
Battery Management Systems
Regulatory Experience (CE, UL, FCC, IC, etc)
