The Clinical services Director is responsible for promoting a common philosophical foundation for the clinical treatment and resident care at the inpatient level of care that promotes respect and dignity for the resident and the family. In this position you will assign, train, supervise, and evaluate a small staff providing professional counseling, therapy and case management services. The position will reviews treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and reports prepared by subordinate staff checking for correctness, completeness, and adherence to policy and procedure. The Clinical Services Director will supervises and participates in the preparation of statistical records and reports, treatment team meetings, child & family team meetings, facilitates trainings in order to meet agency’s policies, MHDD Licensure rules, DCS contractual standards and/or accreditation guidelines. This position requires excellent communication skills required to interact with residents and staff. MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER WITH LEADERSHIP SKILLS!!! Ability to drive a vehicle to attend meetings, transport residents and conduct home studies/visits. Physical Requirements: The Clinical Services Director will work in a normal office setting, except when attending outside meetings, and monitoring staff in the field. Clinical Services Director must have the ability to handle treatment managerial work of considerable difficulty; and performs related work as required. The ability to remain calm under stressful conditions is required. Education and Qualifications: Master’s in Counseling, with LPC, MHPC designation certification. A current license in the state of tennessee with current Board certifications and five (5) years’ experience in behavior health and clinical practice management programs. Must possess a valid TN Driver’s License.
